Back to hotel details page Welcome to the charming Vecchia America (Old American) which is a typically Alpine  timber framed hotel.   Only 4 minutes stroll from the fast gondola and the buzz of the village center. All rooms have satellite TV with English channels, shower/W.C. and telephone. There is a friendly bar with satellite TV and is an ideal place to wind down with a cappuccino or hot chocolate at the end of the day. Even though there is a bus stop right outside the hotel's front door you will not need to use the bus as the hotel is very near the shops, restaurants, cable car, etc. Meals are served in the large dinning room on the ground floor.  Breakfast is a hearty affair with hot drinks, fruit juice, locally baked breads with condiments.  Of course there are various cereals and other items to set you up for a hard day's whizzing around the slopes. Dinner - like everywhere in Italy - is an important meal (you've worked hard all day looking good so you deserve it).  Each day there is a 3 course dinner and once a week the hotel serves a Trentino Gala Dinner for their guests.  Although wine is not included in the cost of the trip, it would be a shame to try some locally produced Trentino wine with your dinner.
